The Surf Club III is located on a narrow strip of barrier island between the ocean and inter-coastal waterway, less than 20 miles south of the oldest city in America, St Augustine. It is adjacent to a state wildlife preserve and botanical gardens with access to a private dock on the intercostals. In addition, if you would enjoy a swim with dolphins, Florida's very own Marine Land is 1 mile away. Three major airports (Jacksonville, Orlando, Daytona) provide tremendous travel choices.
The beaches are quiet and never crowded. The area is safe, peaceful, and tranquil yet a short drive to all the major attractions (Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center) and near some of the best golf in the country. There is nothing better than to return to an ocean front vacation rental home after a long day at a theme park.
