Palm Coast actually has seasons. You can expect summer days to average between 71 and 91 degrees and winter between 45 and 67 degrees. But you can leave the snow shovel and ice scraper up north. Palm Coast is far too beautiful to be covered over with snow.
Boating and fishing abound. Or perhaps you would rather play endless sets of tennis or rounds of golf on five Championship courses with a sixth one almost near completion. Palm Coast is situated in the eastern portion of Flagler county, which is located on the Atlantic Ocean, in the heart of Northeast Florida, equidistant between the cities of Jacksonville and Orlando. Currently, the City of Palm Coast has a population of 60,000 residents and covers an area of approximately 60 square miles.
Palm Coast is close enough to St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, and Mt. Dora for a few afternoon trips but far enough away from any major tourist developments. The beauty of Palm Coast lies in the ability to sustain a downtown lifestyle with charming shops scattered throughout the downtown streets. As well, Palm Coast manages to maintain an essence of peace and tranquility while still inviting tourists to enjoy the laid back lifestyle. There are an abundance of golf courses, marinas, and tennis courts to keep visitors busy for an entire summer.

Washington Oaks State Gardens in Palm Coast originated as part of the Bella Vista Plantation, and extends over 400 acres from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mantanzas River. Traveling north on A1A toward St. Augustine, you will find Fort Mantanzas and various battlefields dating to the French and Spanish struggle to rule Florida.
Activities for everyone are near at hand: golf, tennis, fishing, boating, swimming, all water sports, as well as miles of beaches, and gorgeous, fully appointed swimming pools, complete with hot tubs for the sun worshiper.
